Re-Thinking Development to Include Inclusion and Place
I suggest that a successful economic development directed at promoting new business formation turns less on the benefits extended to attract new businesses but the quality of life the community offers owners, workers and their families. In the final analysis, businesses want to be where their workers choose to live and the quality of life offered by a community is what drives living choices.
