Thank you, Lloyd Gardner, for the priceless insights and valuable development resources that appear to remain hidden, dormant, and untapped in the eyes of most of our community. The application of these multiple avenues of resources and geographical connections may benefit from “a single consolidated US Virgin Islands Hub”, with an emphasis on “actions as opposed to plans”. There are so many dated USVI Plans, which carefully review all of the many previous Plans and then just become the new Plans and the cycle continues! How and where do we join forces with knowledgable, interested, and available minds locally and in the diaspora to invest our time and efforts – “act” on the many existing Plans – to advance responsible and resilient development? Also, how can we realize benefits, document successes, and disseminate information as concrete evidence of the return on investments in the previously funded studies, plans, and projects? USVI Hub…..?
